Well, Muchkin is almost a year old. It's hard to believe I've had her almost that long. Right now she is curled up in her kitty bed next to my desk. And taking a kitty bath. Bleeyech, hairballs. I have got to stop giving her a bath. Ptooey. Just kidding! She is a very good tempered and loving kitty. And spoiled. I just got her the kitty condo tower a few weeks ago. She does love that thing. She has pretty much claimed the porch as her own room. I hate to break it to her, but that will have to come in during winter. The porch isn't heated, and it gets too cold out there. No kitty popsicles, thank you.

Her favorite game is hide and seek, with tag running a close second. With hide and seek, she will hide around a corner, and wait. When you chase her, she runs away to hide somewhere else. Or, if you wait and hide around a corner, she will try to sneak up on you. And usually does. With tag, Munchkin attacks whatever body part is handy, and runs off. Then the game is, you get to chase her, tag her, and run away. This can go on for as long as her human has the energy to run after her. She also loves playing attack cat. See my gallery for a couple shots of this. Please forgive the ones out of focus, but I am still learning the finer points of this camera.

She got spayed last week, and wasn't happy with the vet for that. She weighs 7 pounds. Munchkin's doc doesn't think she will get any bigger, and neither do I. She is about full grown now. We (Dr. Wilde - how do you like that name for a vet?) think it is due to her severe malnourishment in the 8 weeks before I got her, and that fact that she was so infested with fleas and worms. That does affect a cat in later life. PSA - Use flea medicine on your pets, and worm them. They will feel better, and live a better and longer life.

I love her very much, and am very glad I was where I was to be able to take her home. She is a momma's cat most certainly. I call her Sweet Pea a lot too. Wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world.
